Injuries will happen if you play 1 minute or 48

This doesn't really prove anything. Yes, injuries can happen no matter the amount played, but the risk increases as time played increases. It's about minimizing risk, not necessarily trying to eliminate it altogether.

Also, it doesn't not appears as if the Spurs are trying to win tonight, while the Lakers...are.

Thats good. On the other hand, a Spurs loss would almost definitely cause the starters to go all out tomorrow to clinch a tie and potentially HCA depending on the random draw.

Andrew Bynum just went down with an injury. Shocking news.

Bynum's knee apparently buckled after he stepped on an opposing player, he's done for the game and headed for an MRI tomorrow. Didn't look good.

Also, apparently the Bynum injury news got through to Portland, and now the starters are playing again.

Reports on Bynum's injury are so non-encouraging, both Memphis and Portland have changed play philosophies (for the most part) in the second half and are playing to win.

Also, if Bynum is done for the year, a Spurs loss is huge for the Bulls.

EDIT: Except Zach Randolph apparently still gets the night off. Everybody else playing, though.

The Lakers could tumble all the way to 4th if they don't swing this tonight.

Meanwhile, Memphis is playing D-Leaguers and medical trainers in a desperate effort to not get the Lakers in the first round, and they're still hanging with Portland in Portland (who is also trying to lose and not get the Lakers in the first round).

Portland wants to win to avoid the Lakers in the first round because assuming the Lakers win against the Spurs backups tonight and against the Kings tomorrow, LA would finish second. If Portland wins, they lock up sixth and either Dallas or OKC.

The Lakers only have to win one of the two games to stay in front of OKC. They won the season series from OKC and have the division winner tiebreaker over Dallas so any tie goes to the Lakers. They win today and tomorrow, they'll finish second and if they split the two games, they'll finish at least third.

As far as other tiebreakers, NO holds the tiebreaker over Memphis if they finish tied due to a better division record.

rose has made at least one play in this game that no one else in the league can.

Rose is more valuable than LeBron, but would you say LeBron is better?

he's a different player. where lebron goes through, rose just.....goes up down and around then back up and he's 20 feet ahead of you dunking the ball and you are dishonored.

How are we supposed to foul him when he's 20 feet ahead of us?

Oh, I'm sure you'd find a way.

While Rondo's cheap shot BS sucked, we lost that game when we blew an 11 point lead midway through the 4th. For the first time in that series, I really thought we were going to actually win it at that point.

VDN has 2, Corbin actually has 3 already (well, 1 when he was an asst). There is a coach with 0, and the most is 10.

Yes, Carlisle has 10. Vogel does actually have 0, but that wasn't the one I was thinking of. Since it's technically right, the other coach with 0 is Phil Jackson.

I have no idea if the time is reliable, but the online ticketing for season ticket holders updated to the following today:

Date Apr 16

Sat Home Game A vs Pacers

12:00 PM || United Center

date TBD

tbd Home Game B vs Pacers

TBD || United Center

Like I said, far from an official source, but why would the change the gametime from TBD to 12:00 unless they knew something?
