haha, refs just paralyzed on that last sequence. miller comes in and shoves someone for the 80th time this game and no call. could have been a game-changer. refs absolutely have to call that.

I thought the foul on Luol after the free throw was crap. You have to let two guys go for the ball in that situation. But Luol got hammered on the last play. Overall I thought the officiating was below average for both teams. But the Heat complain way too much. They look silly doing it.

No you don't. Box out the shooter. Luol had position because nobody boxed him out and Miller pushed Luol from behind. Easy call.

well, whenever the heat are involved its practically guaranteed it'll be bad. i'm not gonna complain now because the bulls are now getting those superstar type gimme calls (call me crazy paranoid but there are probably 20 teams in the league that don't get a foul called when luol goes sprawling) now so i'm cool with it.

 

but something drastic has to change in the nba because its the worst officiated league in pro sports.

 

theres also some inherent bias in the whole thing because with so many possessions and such vague rulings on what constitutes a foul the reffs are under much more scrutiny than in any other sport. but they are still absolutely abhorrent.

but something drastic has to change in the nba because its the worst officiated league in pro sports.

 

It's terrible. The officiating favored the Heat so heavily in the 1st half and then it flipped a little in the 2nd half (mainly the 4th quarter).

 

BTW, what a great job by our 2nd team. They played great for the first half of the 4th quarter.

The only problems I was having with the officiating was how often Rose would get hammered in the paint with no call. Asik was really selling elbows down low, though, and really got Miami riled up after they were cruising early.
