We're one from Miami now but I don't know if we get closer. I feel it is a positive if we win one of the next three. They will all be tough games.

I'm really curious to see how we play at Atlanta. We haven't played them yet all year, and I haven't seen them play yet all year.

I watched them play last night and they pretty much seem like a very guard heavy team. Good guards but they look like a team we can whip inside. I don't believe the Bulls have played well in Atlanta since they've had their resurgence the last few years though. However, this is obviously a different Bulls team.

What I learned from watching part of the post-game thing on Noah: the player lockers have cabinets so high, a normal adult male cannot access them without a ladder. Jebus, that might have me on my toes to try to reach in.

Hollinger projections as of this morning have the Heat and Celtics finishing 59-23, and the Bulls finishing 58-24. Bulls odds of getting the 1 seed are up over 20% for the first time this year.

Brewer being recruited by Boston, San Antonio, Dallas, Miami, New Orleans and Chicago. Guess which one has the most cap room to spend?

Henry Abbott says a lot of nice things about Corey Brewer.

ok, i'm sold. i take back the bad things i said about him. if he's a taller bruce bowen that can guard premier SG's and SF's, get him and get rid of the white mamba or bogans.

The Bulls don't have to get rid of anyone to add Brewer, since they dumped JJ last week.

that works perfectly then. i don't know why they'd not at least try hard. i would imagine that having noah could push them to the front as a favorite.

You guys got that awesome guy from the Clippers, stop being greedy. I'll take Brewer to be the new Tony Allen

As long as Miami doesn't get [expletive] besides a washed up Mike Bibby and Eddy [expletive] Curry, that's fine.

Wait, the Heat signed Eddy Curry? Why???

It's still a rumor, I saw a clip on realgm that says hes in chicago working out with tim grover and is expected to sign with Miami.

As I said in the other thread, I'd rather have Al Thornton than Brewer or Butler.

I wouldn't. The Bulls are sorely in need of a wing player that can spell Deng and either defend really well or shoot 3s really well. Preferably both, of course, but Thornton does neither.

It's been a long time since the Bulls played a road game against a contender. So long, in fact, that Atlanta is more games over .500 (12) than any road opponent they've played this year at the time of the game. New Orleans was 33-22 at the time of the game, but before that you have to go all the way back to Boston at 14-4, and the LA Lakers at 12-2. If you think about it, here were the road games the Bulls played in their first 17: at OKC, at Boston, at San Antonio, at Dallas, at LA, at Denver, then at Boston again (including other road games in Phoenix, Houston and Sacramento). Since then, the only winning teams they've played on the road were New York, Portland, Utah and New Orleans.

Remaining, they have 2 at Atlanta, 2 at Orlando, one at Miami and one at New York.

It's looking more and more like the Bulls will be signing Rasual Butler. Better 3pt shooter than the other options, decent defender, not a long term option.

What a weird schedule the Bulls have had. The Noah injury could not have been timed any better

July.

Assuming there's no long term impact of the injury, in hindsight you can make an argument for him being injured when he was over July. The Bulls barely slowed down with him gone (mostly because of the schedule, but still). And honestly, his legs must have loved the time off. You always have to worry about a big guy putting too many miles on his legs, and he was at a career high in MPG before the injury. I think he's going to be in much better shape come playoff time then he was last year.
