16 team dynasty league with 40 man rosters (Is an IDP League). In this league the most important 2 positions are WR and LB.

I've got Dwayne Bowe, who is god awful, along with Harvin, Welker, Boldin, T.O., Doucet

I would be giving up Bowe, and getting Davonne Bess and a starting Linebacker or draft pick.

It is a PPR league.

Thoughts.

How many WRs do you start? You have 4 solid WRs. 2 of which have already had their BYE weeks, so you should be fine at WR. If he wants Bowe fine, but I'd probably get something other than a WR. Maybe get the LB and the draft pick?

Edit: That being said, I'd probably do the trade anyway, if LBs are that important to your league. Bess is an upgrade from Bowe anyway. He's on pace for 84 catches and 1000 yards.

I also need some advice. 8 team league normal scoring not PPR or PPC. 1QB 2WR 2RB 1TE and a W/R position along with 4 defensive players. Ive been offered Ahmad Bradshaw and Boldin for MJD/Dez Bryant. I have LT at my other RB spot and starting WR's are Colston/Desean Jackson. Colston has been brutal so far this year and MJD hasnt been great either. However, outside of 1 week Boldin hasn't been great either while Bradshaw is having a good season. I have Ryan Torrain starting in my flex spot right now with McFadden as my other back on the bench right now cause of injury.

Should I do this trade and then look to see if I can sell high on my WR depth of Colston,Jackson, Boldin, Roy Williams, Mike Williams for someone like Felix Jones maybe? When I say sell high I mean straight up for Jones. The guy who has Jones has Kevin Walter as a starting WR.

Any help would be appreciated.

We start 1 RB and 3 WR. Add in one flex position, so you could go 1-4 or 2-3. I have Turner and Mendenhall, so needless to say I usually go 2-3 with Turner, Mendenhall, Boldin, Welker, Harvin. I'm also 4-1 having outscored the next closest team to me out of all 16 by 150. I love this league, but being dynasty I have to think future, as you keep your entire team the next season. Would you still do it?

I'd do this trade in an instant.

Do it and then stand pat, or do it and see if I can sell high on my WR depth?

Do it and try to sell someone like Jackson for another RB. Stay away from Felix Jones.

That's as much of a no brainer as I've seen.

I get: Ronnie Brown

He gets: Knowshown Moreno

I'm thinking no

One's hurt now. One will be hurt soon. I'd keep Moreno who is more likely to be consistent when he's 100%, if that ever happens.

Would this be a fair trade?

Give up

Torrain

Dez Bryant

Receive

Jennings

My cousin needs another RB bad. He's starting Marion Barber on a weekly basis that's how bad his RB situation is. This is his 1st year playing fantasy football so since I have some depth at RB I was thinking of offering him this deal, but I don't know if I'm offering enough? I don't want the other guys in my league complaining that I ripped off the new guy so thought I'd run it by here 1st. He's got Wayne/Smith(NY)/ Santana Moss at WR if he does this deal and can only start 2. Plus waiver WR's lot easier to find than RB in our league. Thanks for the help

Whoever is getting Jennings is getting the better end of the deal, imo.

I would take Jennings too, but I do think it's fair to offer. Jennings has questions surrounding him (how much will he get doubled now that GB has no running game and no Finley). Torain will start for at least another couple weeks and possibly longer and Bryant is a wildcard that could get more involved in a very good passing offense. I don't think it's severely lopsided.

There's a lot more unknown quantity in Torain and Bryant. Neither has had any sustained success. That was my reasoning.

You said it. That's why I'm mixed on this one.

It all depends on how the rest of your teams stack up. Torain is a #1 RB in his team and has been playing well. Jennings started to play better, esp with Finley out, but WR's can be inconsistent.

RB's are in short supply in my league, and therefore more valuable. For instance, I grabbed Roy Williams as a FA WR last week in my league. The best RB available are Chester Taylor and Darren Sproles.

If Torain is firmly on your bench and your WR2 is Dez Bryant, then I'd do it, but its no lock.

I give up:

Steven Jackson

Marques Colston

I get:

Calvin Johnson

Ronnie Brown

I definitely say no in its current form, but what do you guys think?

I play 2WR, 2RB, plus 1 flex in a 0.5 PPR league.

RB has been a strength for me with Jackson, LeSean McCoy and Ahmad Bradshaw. WR has been a weakness with Hakim Nicks as a good #1, but Marques Colston has sucked a$$ this year.

Does the deal get better if I ask for Brandon Jackson instead of Ronnie Brown?

I'm leaning no just because I can play all 3 RB's at the same time, but I'd love to upgrade WR.

From my end, I have McCoy/Gore/McFadden/Moreno/Greene and picked up Woodhead and Ivory this week just for added depth. I can start 4 of the RB's as we have 2 RB spots and 2 flex spots and Id feel pretty comfortable with my 4 even without Torrain. My WR's I have Mike Wallace/Woodhead/Mike Williams(TB)/Bryant so as you can see Im lacking in my WR's but with Wallace/Jennings Id feel much better.

I was mainly just worried about it being lopsided in my favor and angering the other guys in my league since Im commish and our trades only need commish approval.

Thanks for the help though

Man thats a tough one. Pairing Johnson with Nicks would be pretty damn good, but starting Jackson/McCoy/Bradshaw each week is a pretty good trio also. Id probably have to say no just because you can play your 3 RB's like you said, and you know they are going to get the ball, whereas Johnson could have weeks he doesnt get many receptions and or TD's.

I think thats why Im worried about my league complaining about the fairness of the deal. Torrain/Bryant is a unknown quantity but in this situation where the guy is starting Marion Barber at RB on a weekly basis, I think its a pretty fair offer. Torrain is going to be better than Barber, thats no doubt, but is Torrain/Bryant going to be more productive than Barber/Jennings? Id say yes, but Im not sure everybody will see it like that.
