I am a big Chiefs fan and I'm trying not to be a homer, but did anybody see that BS pass interference call on Flowers during the Texans winning drive. Should have been Offensive PI, but instead it was a 30 yard gain.

Terrible, terrible call. It was as blatant OPI as you're going to see.

I can understand if they don't throw a flag there, it wasn't a HUGE push off, and little bumps, pulls, and pushes don't get called all the time. But since they did throw a flag, I think you have to call the pushoff instead of Flowers unsuccessfully trying to armbar Johnson.

I was just thinking about how, based on the Vikings start to the season, they are due for a decent run of easy games to get back into the mix. I don't see it.

 

The schedule does get easier than what they've had to start the year, but damn..

 

@ GB, @ NE, Ari, @ Chi, GB, @ Was, Buf, NYG, Chi, @ Phi, @ Det. There aren't a ton of "locks" left in that schedule.

I'm watching some stream of the Vikings game and it's actually an English channel broadcasting the Fox feed. Every so often some Englishman will come on and give his analysis of the game and all I can think is "aww look at the Englishman giving his analysis of football!"

 

This must be what Englishmen think when some American is analyzing soccer.

Wow, Denver just gave up a huge PI on 4th and 6 to set the Jets up near the goal line and now New York has taken the lead.

grabbed the jersey on the way up, and it was enough to slow his jump. it was probably uncatachable, but it was close enough where you gotta call it. you could argue that he could have possibly tipped it up in the air and then caught it or something
