QBs combined numbers in today's game:

22/51 91 yards, 0 TDs, 7 INTs

Ahahahaha, that's [expletive] amazing

The Redskins game in a couple weeks isn't going to be a cakewalk.

not much left on the schedule is a cakewalk

Cakewalk no but it's still pretty soft until the middle of November. 6-2 at worst is still pretty critical after the Buffalo game because it'll be hard to scratch out even a .500 record the rest of the way.

game at seattle is gonna mean a lot, hope cutler can play well again, the defense continues to impress and the run game continues to build on this success

still think playoffs are a dim prospect

lol, there's a poll on the Trib sports page asking who should be the backup QB after Cutler comes back. So far the results are 602 for Haine, 11 for Collins.

Idonije and Forte huge bright spots today. A friend of mine benched Forte on his fantasy team this week so I had some fun with that, 166 yards and 2 TD's, good for 7.5 ypc. Hanie should have played the whole game...like many of us posted earlier. Defense spectacular as usual. Come back now Cutler.

The playoffs are a good prospect. I think teams that start 3-0 have a 75% chance of getting in. The chances have to be a little better one you go 4-1.

Does Todd Collins win the award for the worst single game performance by a Bears QB in the Super Bowl Era?

I doubt it. I bet I could 5 Bears QB performances that are worse within the last 10 seasons.

those are great numbers in a vacuum until you consider this is an actual living, breathing football team that we've seen play and we also know the schedule coming up!

the team has been fun (at times) to watch and they have won some ridiculous games but they've basically played only one complete game so far (dallas).

i like the o-line play after the changes, and hopefully cutler gets back to form when he comes back, other than that i almost feel like we should be dogs against seattle next week, or maybe like, even money or something.

i can't shake the feeling that we'll never get all phases of the game playing well together, like once we get the passing/offense back together we'll lose someone important on defense to injury (briggs!?) and we'll be bad again in some phase of the game, that may be preposterous bears-fueled pessimism though

I could see them being dogs in Seattle, not at home though. They did lose to the Rams 20-3. Pretty confident the Bears take this game.
