Man, who could have foreseen Alabama losing this season?

(Me. I did.)

Michigan has way too many freshman and sophomores playing, especially on defense. Mistakes are going to happen. Denard is only a sophomore himself and was forced into passing situations which he still struggles with. I don't think it was a Lloyd Carr vs John L Smith type situation. I just think Michigan is too young of a team right now and don't have enough talent on defense to make mistakes.

Agree with this. Our D isn't good enough to win a game where the other team gets a bunch of breaks(first two INTs were a foot away from being TDs, the Roundtree TD drop, the slight overthrow of Stonum for a TD, the fumbled snap MSU recovered, the blocked FG). MSU is a good team and didn't make a mistake today. We're a good team and did. I still think this team wins 8-9 games, but I can't see any game left on the schedule where I think we'll for sure lose so with some actual luck who knows what will happen.

Before the season started I thought they would. After last week I didn't think they would.

So who is the Heisman leader after today? Do we look at Dalton or Moore if they run the table or Taylor Martinez or LaMichael James?

Considering Martinez and James are still undefeated too they've gotta be at the top.

Edit: I'd put Newton ahead of Dalton and Moore too.

Sorry, I was being facetious. I thought Alabama's offense was extremely vulnerable and thought they'd lose this week.

Even you don't think Illinois will lose to Minnesota.

by at least 3 touchdowns. this success is short-lived, trust me.

Oh, Zook is awful don't get me wrong.

But Tim Brewster is the worst coach in a BCS conference by a country mile.

Some day Notre Dame will be able to go up 20-3 and actually close a damn team out. Maybe. I think.

Anyway, we should be 6-3 when Utah comes calling, and hopefully will be a better football team by then too.

also Raisin, lol.

I didn't even know you guys were playing Cal (it's not on TV down here) until I saw the score on the crawler. Another potent offensive effort.

The defense was a bigger problem.

I'll enjoy the Stanford-USC game though. "What's your deal?"

The BCS rankings will be very very interesting when they come out. Local radio here says that if the BCS came out this past week (before today's games), that Ohio State would be 6th or 7th

Darron Thomas out injured for Oregon against WSU. Maybe he'll be out next Thursday and UCLA will only lose by 40 in Eugene.

that is some sulleyish reverse trolling there. I don't believe for a second that you honestly think Michigan has one win left in them.

you don't read the Cubs GDTs, do you

That doesn't sound right. 6/7 while being #2 in the human polls (now #1 probably)?
