PSU will be lucky to go 6-6 this year. What a disaster

Just how much influence does JoePa still have on the program. I'd imagine it's still a good bit because PSU still looks as vanilla as they have always been. I'd imagine it's going to take a bona fide regime change for PSU to change their style. Am I wrong?

Correct, and there won't be a regime change when JoePa retires/croaks, as he'll make sure that Bradley gets the head coach position and that all the coaches are retained

But do you think that is how the coaches really view football or if it is just a reflection of JoePa still being the head man? Like, are they only running his style of ball because he is still there.

No, because when they had Darryl Clark and the three speed receivers (Williams, Norwood and Butler), they ran what they called the "Hi-Def Offense", which was full of passes, spread formations, etc.

I just think that with a bad O-Line and an 18 year old QB, they are keeping it super simple

list of dual threat QBs from Rivals in 2009...no Martinez or Denard Robinson. to be fair Robinson was a 4 star recruit who was listed under athlete

Heck, even Nebraska was recruiting Martinez as an athlete with the intent of moving him to safety. He improved his throwing his senior year in HS and Nebraska liked him QBing on their scout team last year so they left him at QB.

Martez Wilson almost killed him there.

He really almost took his life.

I've decided I want to see Michigan vs. Baylor in a bowl game. Denard Robinson vs Robert Griffin III, could happen in the Alamo Bowl.

Insight, Dallas, or Texas, but not the Alamo Bowl. The Big Ten isn't affiliated with them anymore.

Word out of Penn State is that 3 defensive players may have suffered season-ending injuries today: DE Eric Latimore, DE Jack Crawford, and S Nick Sukay.
