Lol I haven't been quiet. Thank god there are now sites like Fangraphs that can call attention to things like this. Eventually organizations will all come around, though I sometimes wonder how long it will take.

some organizations already have come around; those are the ones that actually win (i.e., not cubs)

I heard a while back on a Boston Red Sox radio show a guy call in suggesting the Red Sox trade for him this offseason, move Martinez to 1st, and then move Youk back to 3rd because there is no way they will give Beltre the money he will get after his big season; assuming Beltre declines his option.

He would be a .300/30/100 guy on a yearly basis in Boston.

I do not really see Soto as a .300 hitter, and as I believe he has been robbed many at bats by stupid management... I do not see where he has proven healthy enough to put up the plate appearences to achieve 30 homers and 100 rbi's due to his patient approach. I do however think a smart manager will get .280/.390/.900 out with mid 20's HRs and 80-90 Rbi's.

I have not understood why Soto was benched so often in favor of Hill this season. We talk about Lee and Ramirez not playing well as cause for the team's awful year. How about leaving one of the best offensive catchers in the league on the bench while we start a guy with a .550 OPS three times a week? Lou didn't have a clue this year.
