Hawks cannot field a pass cleanly all night. We've had some good centering feeds, but we can't get off a shot as it skips over the stick.

Every shot we take from the point has Canuck right in front to block it. Canucks are getting stick on almost any pass in the offensive zone. They are consistently beating us on 50/50 plays.

A drubbing literally everywhere but the scoreboard.

It's all effort. Brouwer circling around a loose puck in the offensive zone instead of stopping and going straight to it. No checking at all. Lame breakouts, nobody fighting to get open. They fought all the way back in this series for this? Seems like they are content with having made it a series.

I've agreed all along with the "house money" attitude about these playoffs, but this is really pissing me off.

Gotta give credit though...with all the pressure on Vancouver, they've played an absolutely fantastic game. Of course it helps alleviate the pressure when you get a quick goal at the start.

I could easily see the Canucks tighten back up if we somehow luck our way into a goal.

I think it's as simple as Vancouver coming out on the aggressive side of terrified.

Anyone care to describe the goal?

2 on 2 I think and Leddy completely forgot to get the guy trailing and the Vancouver player gave it from the left side to the middle for an easy one time goal.

I don't remember much about it other than the Canucks have had 6-7 better chances since then and it hasn't gone it.

That's easily the worst period the Hawks have played in the series.

I think Seabrook is still concussed. What a bad game for him.

And yes, effort is a huge issue here. The Canucks are flying full speed everywhere and I'm just not seeing the same from Chicago.

The Hawks got absolutely nothing going on offense that period. Whenever the puck got into the Hawks zone, 90% of the time it was cleared by Vancouver within 5 seconds.

The upcoming Vancouver choke will be epic.

I did just have a brief thought about how funny a 2-1 Hawks win will be. And it's very possible, they just have to come out like they care -- hit people, forecheck, cause turnovers, and the chances will come. Luongo hasn't done anything special tonight, except for that one save on Toews.

The ref needs to drop the damn puck during these face-offs. How many times has the Chicago center been kicked out because the ref is holding the puck for so long?

The only way we win this game is if we can somehow get a lucky bounce and put one past Luongo. I can't see us getting a goal from playing well sorry to say.

I honestly think a Hawks goal puts the crowd, players and most of all Luongo on edge. I'd bet we see a huge change in play if that were to happen.

Oh absolutely. It puts all the pressure right back on them. I think if we get one, we get another quickly. Then hold on for dear life. Otherwise we lose the game 3-0.

wait everyone was saying that the hawks were in luongo's head and he is a playoff choker, now after two periods he has become in-his-prime dominik hasek?

No I'm not saying that at all. Watch the game, Luongo is not making great saves, the Hawks are simply not getting any good chances due to the Vancouver defense.

He's made like 2 saves
