Moved Luke Scott to the DL and DLee to the utility spot.
You might be better off just leaving the spot vacant.

The Cubs are completely un-watchable. They suck and they don't care.

I'm completely immersed in the Red Sox and their ability to lead the AL East with a AAAA outfield and 6 starters on the disabled list.

Adam,

Weren't you just complaining a while ago about someone picking up a FA pitcher midweek and putting them in to start? Didn't you just do that with Moyer? I know one of your guys had a start moved out, but I don't know if that qualifies as a valid exception.

He made a federal case of it last year when I tried to promote Norris from my minor league roster midweek to get a 7th start. If you can't promote a player from your own minor league roster you shouldn't be able to add a free agent. I don't recall if the circumstances were the same, though.

I picked up Jenks for Lidge, I thought I hit "add to list of waiver claims, but I didn't". So, I put Jenks on the bench, CJ WIlson at RP (no more starts this week) and Harden at SP (on DL) so it shouldn't affect any scoring.

Why would you hit "add to list of waiver claims"?

You can add a free agent midweek and toss them on the bench. If you make it a waiver pick up, you lose your position. As far as I know, "add to list of waiver claims" is something you do if you are attemting to add someone who just recently got dropped and won't be eligible to be picked up until Sunday.

I don't believe you can add someone who hasn't cleared waivers yet.

Because I added a closer and dropped a closer which mean the new closer would normally have to go into my lineup mid-week, which I'd imagine is not allowed.

In that case, after CBS defaults the player into your starting line up, just move him to the bench and go with that spot as empty until Monday. Adding it to the list of waiver claims could cost you some significant waiver positioning, especially if the trade deadline features some decent drops at the end of this month.

i had a guy that was scheduled to start and he got bumped to next week. that seems like a pretty valid reason to pick a SP mid week to get your 7 starts. the decision to bump kennedy wasn't made until after monday. i should be punished a start because kennedy didn't make his scheduled start?

I guess I'd consider it similar to a "benching", since the decision was made mid-week by the team. Since a benching is a valid reason for a replacement, I don't have a problem with it.

But I SHOULD have been punished (as you made a HUGE case of) for trying to do the same thing last year? Yeah, right.

norris wasn't replacing a player who was injured, benched or was otherwise scheduled to make a start and then did not. same with when kid rodelo picked up morrow mid week a few weeks ago.

don't really see your point since you DID get to keep norris' points just like kid rodelo got to keep morrow's points.

The only reason I was "allowed" to keep the points was because it was a negative start. I do remember Juan agreeing with you but saying that a scoring adjustment wasn't needed because the score was negative.
