Here's how I would like to rule on this pitching thing. Adam is right that I never did anything with the Morrow start. I don't remember all the details, but I also don't remember it impacting the outcome.

 

I can see Adam's point about losing a start after it was too late to add someone. However, if a starter for his opponent gets rained out tomorrow, it wasn't fair that the opponent may not have been able to replace his starter with a 7th start.

 

At the same time, I think it's important that each team be able to get their 7 starts each week, as a 7th start can be a big percentage of scoring that you have no chance at if you don't have 7 starts available.

 

In this case, I'd like to allow the Moyer addition to Adam's roster, but only if Cliff Lee's start (eyes of texas 7th start) isn't interfered with in regards to getting bumped, rained out, injured, etc.... If Lee's start doesn't count, then Moyer's start doesn't count.

 

Anyone agree or disagree with this?
