He has one more RBI than Castro and Fontenot (17. They both have 16. I'm not sure if that counted Castro's from tonight). Fontenot and Castro have 288 ABs combined. Theriot has 286. Hill ,Baker, Tracy, Zambrano, Nady, Colvin, and Silva plus all the other starters all have a higher RBI/AB ratio. Okay, it's not a stat that means much, but that's painful.

 

Edit: Gorzelany also has a higher RBI/AB ratio, which means every player on the team has a higher ratio than Theriot.

Why on earth would you take out Marlon Byrd? Leave the pitcher in the 9th spot, Lee made the last out and you are not going more than one inning with Marmol anyway. My gosh, does Lou think he always has to do a double switch late in the game?

If they played a whole season at the pace they've played the other 29 MLB teams, they'd be a 44-118 (.274) team. But against the Cubs they play at a 130-32 (.800) pace.
