06/11 White Sox (Peavy) @ Cubs (Wells) 1:20 CDT, CSN TV

The North and South rekindle their civil war with only one thing in common: Appreciation for the to champion Blackhawks.

The Cubs will fight to make Peavy sing "Oh Danny Boy" in Wrigleyville instead of a more festive tune. The White Sox will fight for a newspaper headline before the Bears preseason begins.

No matter how mediocre this season has been, it has been fun watching Cashner, Castro and Colvin develop. Let's hope Jay Jackson keeps it up and Vitters gets hot.

Keep this in mind when you encounter a White Sox fan:http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m302/Guancous/HatersGonnaHate.jpg

Oh look Koyie Hill is in the [expletive] lineup again yayyy. At least Lous trying to make something interesting by coming back at the douchebag Stone and his criticism on how Colvins being handled. Then again they both can go to hell as far as I'm concerned.

Did Piniella plan on talking to Stone, who is working today's game?

"I don't care about talking to him," he said. "I'm talking to you for them. But I'm tired of it.

"And Steve Stone? He's got enough problems doing what he does with the White Sox. What job has he had in baseball besides talking on television or radio? What has he done?

"Why isn't he a farm director and bring some kids around? Why isn't he a general manager, and put the uniform on and been a pitching coach? Why hasn't he been a field manager. There's 30 teams out there that could use a guy's expertise like that. I'm tired of some of these guys, I really am. Now that's it. Let's go to baseball."

Let's go win the most coveted trophy in all of sports, the BP cup.

As stupid as it is, it's all that matters right now. [expletive] up the Sox is all I have left.

Peavy is 3-2 with a 2.74 ERA in eight starts against the Cubs. He has a 6.30 ERA in his last two at Wrigley, both of which he lost.

Wells won his only start against the White Sox on June 26 of last year, allowing two runs in seven innings. He is 0-4 with a 6.11 ERA in seven starts since beating Arizona on April 30.

Reading those comments don't do them justice. I just saw Lou's interview on CSN and he was really angry. I don't always agree with Lou but I definitely agree that Stone should shut the hell up about the Cubs. He doesn't agree with everything Ozzie does but he doesn't call him out; Ozzie would roast Stone in the media. I'm glad Lou stood up for himself
