Thanks, UK. I take back what I said about Deck.

The only pick at #16 I would heavily disfavor would either be OF Gary Brown (fantastic defensive CF, but doesn't walk and uses a contact-heavy approach) or someone who would be an obviously egregious reach. Otherwise, no one would really tick me off.

Can someone explain the Yordy Cabrera situation to me?

He's 20 years old and still in High School?

From BA:

He moved to the U.S. at age 14 from the Dominican Republic and is already 19. In other words, he's a prep senior who's two years older than junior-college freshman Bryce Harper. Cabrera, whose father Basilio is a former player and the Tigers' Rookie-level Gulf Coast League manager, has spent plenty of time around pro clubhouses and wood bats, and has two plus-plus tools.

Interesting on Cabrera.

Must have been a tough evaluation for scouts. 2 years older than competition, but skilled.

Royals take Colon.. Surprise #1..

I'm glad the Royals got him off the board. From the reports I've read and what limited I've seen of him, he doesn't project to be much more than an above average defensive 2B with a decent bat. Great intangibles and a fantastic teammate, but he's not exactly someone I'd want in the first round.

Yep.

Pomeranz to Cleveland.

This is the best way Peter Gammons can get back to TV, in my opinion. Surround him with a bunch of morons who have no clue what they are talking about and he'll look like a genius!

What the hell is that thing on Pomeranz's head? Is he a Justin Bieber fan?

Any chance Mike Foltynewicz is there for the Cubs 2nd pick?

My dream draft:

#16 - Justin O'Connor

#65 - Mike Foltynewicz

Very little chance. He's been discussed as a possibility for some teams at the end of the first round.
