A 3-2 road trip against two first place teams. You'll take that everytime.

Hey Fred, what's the Cubs record going into off days? It seems to have been pretty good this year.

Hey Fred, what's the Cubs record going into off days? It seems to have been pretty good this year.

4-1, but that includes openning day.

Haha that was a bad strike call. Cubs win the series!

to be fair, it was abig zone tonight. Overall though i felt the home plate umpiring was inconsistent this series. Not from game to game but inside each game, could never tell what the zone was, but for at least the last few innings tonight, it was a bit bigger than usual

Two out of three in Arlington. I'm thrilled with that.

shouldnt you bee watching a bunch of canadian and russians or something?

In the seven games that started with Monday's matchup with Colorado, the Cubs went 5-2. Run differential went from -14 to -5 in that span.

We are over halfway into the stretch of 13 games versus >.500 clubs that was supposed to spell doom.

I'm glad we won despite what happened in the 8th. Man, I can't believe Grabow walked his way into trouble and Howry immediately started giving up line shots. There's nothing in either of those guys' recent pasts that would suggest that was going to happen. Lou got taken completely by surprise.
