ticket/seat question

Ok, I thought there used to be a sticky for this, but I can't find it. What sites, other than StubHub and Cubs.com, do you guys use for tickets? Also, what seats do you prefer? I have enjoyed sitting in the 405 are and along the foul lines in the box seat area. Anyhow, just curious before I buy some this time 'round.

Thanks

Since I'm in Chicago, I do quite a bit of craigslist.

As far as my seat preferences, I like anything in the 400s or 218-224, which is behind the plate but up. I used to show up day-of and get terrace resvd for $30 up in 222. They were excellent seats. Just watch out for obstructed view.

What was that site that lets you see the view from any seat in the ballpark? I lost the URL, but that was a great tool.

I got tickets last month in the first row of 219 for $25/piece on Cubs.com the day before the game. I was quite happy with the seats, not so much with the team and weather.

It's a family tradition, my cousin and I go every year and he is a Braves fan. Contention doesn't matter, we'll be drunk and having fun

I think he was insinuating that if they fall out of contention you can get a better price.

OMG you are one of THOSE Cubs fans. Going to a baseball game is supposed to be an act of reverence and a time for calm reflection.

To get the bigger view, use this link, and substitute the section you want at the end of the URL (The 403).

Get off it. We get together to celebrate my cousin who died in Iraq. We drink. We don't act [expletive], we don't get in fights. We enjoy baseball. And beer. And hot dogs. And peanuts. And...
