Well, that'll probably cost him his job. I doubt that we'll see Castro start for at least 2 or 3 days.

Doubtful. All the language coming from the organization indicates he's playing full time. This is all part of the learning curve.

And hopfully it stays that way because this would get someone else benched for a week, then 1 ab and another week on the bench.

honestly i think he is really nervous out there...

Making an error is one thing. It happens to everybody. What pisses me (and most people) off is the lack of hustle. And I'm not saying Castro is like that all the time or even most of the time. and he's certainly not the only one on this team guilty of loafing it out there. But lack of hustle is inexcusable.

Can't say it only happens to us, but it sure as hell happens a lot more often.

And this is based on....?

101 years of failure.

Due to bad calls going against the Cubs?

Come on, man.

Dude just let him vent.

Yeah I think he isn't getting pulled soon. If this shaky defense continues for a week or so then maybe, but I am guessing they are willing to chalk this one up to nerves. I don't even know if he gets Hanley at 1B if he comes up with that last one cleanly, however it would have stopped him from getting to 2B.

I agree, i just tell myself he is a 20 year old kid and that this is really a huge deal for anyone, let alone someone who cant even legally drink in the US.

Definitely. I'm sure he knows what he did wrong. He's going to make plenty of mistakes. We just have to hope that he learns from them.

I hope that you're right, but I just don't have any faith in them to do the right thing. I hope that I'm wrong, but somehow expect to see Fontenot get the pinch hit opportunity to justify the start tomorrow.

Man, Aramis is just painful to watch. He should have destroyed that second strike.

Yup just horrible right now.

He hasn't gotten the ball past the pitcher's mound tonight.

Another 1-4 game... at least he's consistent. If he continues to chip away at this rate, he may get that average all the way up to .230 by the end of the season!

I by no means am giving up on Aramis for the year but Tracy probably gives us a better chance to win right now. Why not go with him for a few games? Horrible idea?

Man I wish the Chicago media wasn't a bunch of pussys. In most other big market places Lou would be getting grilled and his job would be getting questioned, but not here with Lou.

That's a fine idea except that Tracy is playing at Iowa.

I set the over/under at 2 questions from the media tonight before the press conference ends with awkward silence.

Yes horrible idea. Tracy isn't the answer for the short term. There really isnt much we can do with ARam right now, except for get him out of the middle of the order
