lol, the White Sox trailed 3-1 to the Twins and loaded the bases with 0 outs and their 3-4-5 hitters coming up and didn't score. Then the next inning, they loaded the bases with 1 out and still didn't score.

If theres 1 thing I love about White Sox games, its Hawk goes completely silent moments, and I just witnessed a classicl After being down the whole game, Alexie Ramirez hit a leadoff home run on the 9th to tie it, and an RBI single to take a 1 run lead in the top of the 10th. Hawk and Stoney are singing Alexeis praises and Hawks usual ramblings.s Leadoff single by Delmon Young, and Jim Thome to the plate with Hawk still babbling. Next thing you know, walk off 2 run no doubter, and Hawk falls completely silent.

White Sox broadcasters blaming the umps after losing a series to the Royals is pretty funny.

It's just not fair!!! I'm sorry you had to watch this.

This is seriously what their play by play announcer said. Their [expletive] play by play announcer said the umpire conspired to cost them this series.

Last combined no-no was Houston at NY Yankees, June 11, 2003, Roy Oswalt and five relievers (including Lidge, Dotel, and Wagner).

Roy Oswalt playing left field for the Phillies as their tilt with the Astros goes to the 15th inning. Awesome.

EDIT: And he gets a putout!

Reminds me of the Cards-Mets game earlier this year. I know the Cards used at least one pitcher in the field (as well as a position player on the mound), and the Mets might have as well.

Cards pitched Felipe Lopez and Joe Mather (who took the loss) and played Kyle Lohse in left field.

The Mets somehow managed to avoid such positional tomfoolery, though reliever Raul Valdes had a hit in two at-bats in the 18th and 19th innings.

Yeah, what I was thinking about for the Mets was a starting pitcher (Pelfrey) serving as closer and getting the save. It's interesting that a Cardinal (Mather) entered the game as a pinch hitter and still had 6 at-bats.
