It's been a while since we've seen Soriano hot like this. I was afraid we wouldn't see it again (since he's getting old and looked pretty bad most of last year)

It could easily be a coincidence but I don't care... I love Rudy and I love that the guys we were wondering about coming back strong (Sori, Soto) are looking absolutely amazing at the plate... esp in approach.

Imagine how many games over .500 we'd be if Lee and Aramis were just having average seasons.

You could look at it this way. If they return to form they'll probably be doing it when the rest of the offense cools down so the offensive production could remain the same.

Soriano is not running much but to me he looks like he is in as good of shape as the day the Cubs signed him. So nice to see him killing it!

Given how terrible he looked, I too thought we'd never see this again, it's a pleasant surprise.

Assuming Lou is actually still a functioning human being, what the hell is his thinking here?

The only things that I can come up with are Tracy used to play with Jackson so maybe he knows him or something stupid, or Tracy was pretty good one year 5 years ago. Maybe he'll recapture that.

But batting Tracy ahead of good hitters who are hitting well makes no sense.

As for as I know, Chad Tracy has never played in the same organization with Edwin Jackson.

Starting April 12, Soriano has a line of .364/.438/.673. And that's before today's home run. Edited by soccer10k
