It's so strange that a flyball pitcher like Lilly is giving up HRs on a day like today.

 

Speaking of HR's...What are the odds that the CUBS go the entire homestand without a HR

He's actually been worse. If not for a wind-aided double, his OPS would probably be below .400.

 

He's still not Miles. Miles was starting way too often.

Tracy is pinch hitting way too often. Outside of a nice defensive play in MIL, the guy has done NOTHING this year.

If the Cubs don't come back to win this game, they will be 5.5 games out of first already. For some reason I thought they would surprise people this year because most were picking them to finish 3rd or 4th in the division, meaning there wasn't that outside pressure. I know the season isn't over but man is this disappointing.
