As soon as I saw "Pirates pitcher hit in head vs. Astros" I didn't even have to guess to know who hit the ball... Lance Berkman.

 

This is the 3rd pitcher he's hit in the head with a line drive now isn't it? I think he hit Jo-Jo Reyes a couple years ago and someone else a year or two before that. This makes 3.

He's out of the hospital. He has a concussion. Nothing broken. Kind of dodged a bullet.

 

On the 15 day DL. No idea when he's going to be back. Depends on the symptoms. He's going to travel with the team, and get tested every day.

 

I'm surprised they don't send him back to Pittsburgh.
