I'm starting to get a little less worried about this team. Going into the season we really needed Soriano and Soto to have good years, and they're both looking very good right now. I don't think anybody expected Ramirez to be this bad, and Lee has been meh. When those two get going and if Soriano and Soto keep it up our offense can be passable. And I hate the Zambrano move a little less each time I think about it, although I hope we can make a trade to get a decent arm in the bullpen and move Z back into the rotation some time in the next month.

 

 

If everything keeps going good, we might only finish 12 games behind the Cardinals! 8-)

Looks like Olsen is pitching tonight for the Nats. So it will be Lannan, Hernandez and Atilano. Lannan and Hernandez have both been pretty solid against the Cubs over their careers. No gimmes there.

Yeah, I figured we wouldn't be seeing Marquis..... but on the ESPN website they had a big blank spot for Wednesday's starter, so I just left Marquis there until I heard better.
