My god, the camera work has been awful. Zoom out a bit so you can see the outfielders running after the damn ball.

Uh, most definitely not. A man on third would not score on a hard hit ball to the third basemen.

 

I don't think you can definitely say he would or wouldn't. If he's going on contact and the 3rd baseman is playing back he probably would score. Even with the ball hit hard, if the 3rd baseman is playing back his mindset is to get the out at third, not at home.

I can say with almost 100% certainty that he wouldn't have scored. That ball was hit pretty hard and even if he was going on contact, which would have been kind of silly in the first place, he would have been thrown out.

I know Ron is under the weather, but I find it humorous that his hatred for the Mets runs so deep that he refuses to even go to New York when the Cubs play them.

But Geo probably would have taken a different approach to that AB had Sori been on 3rd. He would have been looking to lift one to the OF for the easy RBI.
