When I was at game 3 a philly fan stopped me and asked who was the captain before toews. I completely blanked. Thought for a second that maybe Aucoin was captain for a while, and had no idea Lapointe was ever captain.

 

i was thinking about this before i went to bed. it's so absurd that marty lapointe was once the captain of this team.

 

aucoin wore the A. what a worthless free agent class that was but i guess at least the franchise was trying and bulin wasn't a towering inferno-type disaster.

 

According to wiki, Aucoin was the captain after Zhamnov and before Lapointe.

csn is apparently about to run a story about Quinneville's house being TP'd last night. Pat Boyle doesn't think it should air.

 

WGN talked about it quite a bit.

 

 

Comcast's online feed is providing the off air dialogue during commercials, Boyle was saying there's no point in showing it, and asked "is that some good natured thing?" He's from the Chicago area. I know lots of people around there TP houses in a celebratory manner, around homecoming games and after big wins. Did he think it was meant as an attack?

yeah, bad memories, literally. i was excited for that team, and then they changed the rules to award actual hockey teams.

i saw him skating with his girlfriend/wife after the win and iirc, she was kind of jersey shorish.

i love how he's only concerned about how many girls the stanley cup is going to get him. he's always talking about how the girls are going to like him more now. i'm like, how much more can the girls like you? you're a professional athlete, hell Q probably has 5 mistresses.
