I'm laughing to myself every time they chant "LUUUUUUU" after he makes a save still.

Are you sure they aren't just booing him now?

Or maybe Luol Deng was spotted in the audience.

the LUs really dropped in intensity tonight.

Does Forslund hate the Hawks?

Jessie Rogers tweeted his post-game question will piss off Vigneault. (He does claim it is a legit question though)

So is all that hyperventilating about how the Hawks played in the 2nd half of the season pretty much history?

As a total hockey newb, it's pretty easy for me to tell that the Hawks are just way better than their competition thus far. They can't even generate chances or control the puck. They almost look unbeatable playing this way.

I never thought this would be a five-game series. And, of course, it still might not be. But I can't imagine Vancouver is going to have much fight left in them after the pantsing they've taken in the last 48 hours.

That was a bullet!!

AND A DAGGER! HAWKS WIN!!!

Can't believe I managed to get tickets for game 5, and now I have a chance to watch some handshakes.

Awesome! you get seats or SRO?

How worried should I be about getting swept now? Our goal tending/defense doesn't look so good and Vancouver is not Nashville.

Yeah, this post I made after game 1 looks dumb now.

Yes, but I don't think it was until Game 5 of the Nashville series. They are in top form now.

Super jealous, but I can't swing getting up there for a Sunday night.

I think they will have fight. No team wants to get pantsed like this and not do anything about it. Of course if they get behind early, doing anything about it might mean more goonery.

Honestly, deep down I really thought the Hawks would lose this series. Not that the series is over, but its looking like I'm dead wrong. Something for some reason just clicked 10 minutes into game 2 and they've been great more often than not since.

I managed to find a pair on ticketmaster in the 300 level about an hour before the game tonight. If you want to go, I would definitely suggest going on ticketmaster tonight and tomorrow as many times as you can stomach, because the word on the street is that there have been plenty of tickets released the day before all these playoff games.

If you search for tickets and nothing comes up, search at least 3-4 more times because sometimes that's what it takes to successfully pull the tickets up. If you do it more than like 8 times and nothing comes up, nothing is available at the time. Try a few hours later.

Beyond the fact that they played so well and the power play was outstanding, I'm most pleased with the way they kept their composure tonight. Let those clowns goon it up, take the pp and go to work on a scared Luongo.

Vancouver came out with their hair on fire, hitting and looking really sharp early. Then they got dumb, we got some nice bounces and the power plays were too much. Close this beyotch out on Sunday night.

We're just better than Vancouver.

this is something i very rarely speculate on, but my gut feeling is that there are serious leadership problems in vancouver. they have way too much talent to just get slammed aside like this. they tend to whine more than other teams and resort to cheap play quickly. seems like there's a lack of accountability starting from the top. i don't have anything to base this on, which kind of makes it a dumb post, but that's just the feeling i get.

losing 2 straight games in a row like that at home is straight up embarrassing.

I can kind of see this. I mean, their coach was whining about the officiating from last year before the series even started. Talk like that kind of sets a tone. The series isn't over but Vancouver really does seem to quit quickly.

(Quick disclaimer. I'm drunk so if I say something stupid let it slide).

Well, they can start by letting someone other than the freaking goalie be the captain.

I still like the Hawks tonight because I think the Canucks are mentally a mess at this point. All of the articles talk about them changing how they play, which I don't think is a good thing for them. They won game 1 because they made the Hawks play their game, not because they tried to play the Hawks game.

If they try to play the "Hawks style" of play, I think the Hawks win it.

Worth a repost. :D

And another, they started that talk shortly before the series began, all about playing like the Hawks, etc. Knew bad was going to come of it for the Canucks.

Cue it up!!!! -

Yeah, I mentioned it before the game as well. The Canucks are always talking about how they will keep their emotions in check and focus. But they never do.

Last night was hilarious. They played their least focused game of the series at the time when they knew they needed to do the very opposite.

We appear to have Luongo's number too. Is there any team that scores on him like the Hawks?

That said, the 4th win is always the toughest to get. Let's close this thing out tomorrow and not give the Canucks any glimmer of hope.
