got lucky it's not 4-0

i have this vision of luongo shutting us out 3 games in a row. vancouver is going to be jumping for game 6.

Then it's fortunate for the Hawks to be really good in Canada then. There is less then 5% chance of Vancouver winning this series. We ain't Ovechkin and Washington, the Hawks ain't choking this series away.

this is a chicago team we're talking about, they could very easily choke it away.

And it's even more likely they won't.

well, it was very unlikely that luongo would shut us out through 2, as well.

No it's not. Luongo always has had the talent to dominate, it's the mental aspect of the game he struggles with. Wait and see if he let's in a soft goal and see how quickly he gives up the lead.

Hawks have scored three goals in a period before. It will be tough because Vancouver won't be very aggressive and Luongo is on tonight but you never know.

At this point, I'd put it more at 20%.

Still, the point is, I love the Hawks chances at closing this series out either tonight (unlikely) or in Game 6.

I'm certainly not turning it off.

Not after game 5 vs Nashville.

They can't even get through the neutral zone at this point. And now a penalty. This is ugly.

Again, I hate to put too much on Niemi in a game where we can't score, but he got this one off to a bad start and hasn't done himself any favors since.

The offense is just slightly off tonight and Luongo has played well.

But he hasn't had to make any ridiculous saves. The best scoring chance they had, Buff missed a wide open net. The best thing he has done is cut down on the rebounds, but the ones he has given, the Hawks just weren't quite in the right spot to bury it.

I don't understand why the Hawks play better on the road. It's really infuriating that they are dominating at home. But oh well, kcik their asses in Vancouver and watching those Canadians mumble on there way out of the stadium will be fun to watch.

how demoralizing is this loss?

Not at all. You need to take a step back.

And there we go. Let's see if they have another miracle in them at home.
