I hate ESPN's new ball/strike/out counter.

Yeah, that takes up too much room on one corner.

I don't understand why they went away from the narrow bar across the top of the screen. Seems like the perfect use of space to me. There's very little important that takes place that high up on the screen and it doesn't draw too much attention.

Haha, Jeter grounds out on the first pitch of the game. Nice.

Normally I would be happy about that but this year I have him in the NSBB Premier League so I have to root for him. Going to be a struggle all season because I don't like him. Well not really him but the hype around him that forces me to hope he fails.

Did he seriously just praise Beckett for his "great" defensive play in which he threw the ball directly into the dirt?

Welcome to NY, Granderson. That ball was effing crushed.

"But doesnt matt...but..The way he hits this ball it doesnt matter where this ballpark is"

That's it. Joe Morgan is drunk. I'm convinced of it.

Good God. I may turn on music and mute the TV because of Morgan. Why the crap does ESPN keep bringing him back. I don't know a single person who likes him. It's not like Bill Walton in that loads of people love him and loads of people hate him. With Morgan there is either hate or ignorance.

I'm not sure if they mentioned it on TV but Granderson's HR measured in at 455 feet.

Good god. Freaking bomb.
