Fernando Perez spoke perfect English? I was kinda expecting him to speak similar to Sosa/Soriano and have the heavy accent. What surprise me is that Perez is an Ivy Leaguer.

 

I seem to recall some old adage that might be applicable here. Something about books and covers? Nah, I'm probably way off.

That guy was an actual baseball player? I thought he was like their janitor or something more fitting for a man of his color.
