By my count, I have 15 no doubt 1 bid leagues.

SWAC, NEC, MEAC, Ivy, Big South, Patriot, America East, Summit, Southland, Atlantic Sun, Sun Belt, Big Sky, SoCon, Big West, & MAC

To piggy back onto this, other potential 1-bid leagues: MAAC, Colonial, MVC, C-USA, Pac-10

I like the scoring and minute balance of Murray State as much as the next guy, but I think the OVC belongs somewhere on this list.

My mistake, I assumed it was on the first list. So that's potentially 21 one-bid leagues.

Murray was right on the borderline of my first list. I couldn't see myself giving an at-large but I could listen to arguments for them. Their problem is to not get an auto-bid, they'd have to lose to a terrible team.

Horizon is a 1-bid league as well if Butler wins its tournament, correct?

The WAC as well with Utah St.(who is far from a lock IMO)

I could see an argument that the WCC is 1-bid if St. Mary's loses in their 1st game while Gonzaga wins it.

Well, by declaring "one bid" leagues, I'm arguing that none of the teams in the league are at-large worthy, in such case that whoever wins the auto bid would be placed below all at-large qualifiers in the bracket. Teams like Gonzaga or Butler are very likely at-large worthy even if they lose in their tournament's first round (or the first game they play in their tournament), so even if they win the auto bid and the league technically ends up with one bid, that team is still among the at-large mix.

If I squint enough I could find at-larges from those conferences. I still think when I take a closer look at it, the Pac 10 is going to wind up with more than 1 regardless of who wins the tourney.

The disconcerting thing about the Pac-10 is that the only team with more than a single decent (read: top 50) non-con win is ineligible for the postseason.

I think the ACC is going to get far more teams than they should.

First auto bid could be clinched tonight if Cornell wins.

EDIT: And Cornell wins. First bid set!

Added Cornell's statistical profile to the first post, at least everything that the committee would see (well, all the summary info. I'll leave the details out because it would make the post enormous once all 65+ are in there). Last 12 games is no longer on the sheet, as well as the specific RPI. I'm pulling records vs top 25/50/100/200+ off Pomeroy's site, since I can quickly eyeball the records there.

Winthrop wins the Big South auto bid, and regular season champ Coastal Carolina is (again, likely very briefly) relegated to the consideration board.

Bid theft watch: Butler down 6 late in the first half in the Horizon semis.
Butler came back to win. Bubble teams everywhere are breathing a collective sigh of relief.

I don't know why everyone on the net is not including Arizona in their mock brackets. I thought they were grandfathered in no matter what. Huh, sure seemed that way the last few years....

Reminder that if you would like to participate in the mock committee, PM me your lists of locks, considerations and team rep in the next 40 hours or so. I've received 3 entries so far.

I was apparently hallucinating when I thought I PMed my lists last week. I'll try to do them tonight.

Here's a debate starter:

Do any Pac-10 teams deserve at-large bids?

I assumed when I scrutinized further, I'd find one, but yow.

Their problem is the "bottom" of the Pac 10 is 7 teams, so there are 4 chances for the 3 teams that matter to get wins over decent teams. Then they all crapped the bed in their noncon.

I mean you look at Washington with the win against A&M in noncon, but then it loses a lot when you have losses to Texas Tech, Oregon, UCLA, and getting swept by USC.

Cal's got pretty Pomeroy #s, but you look at their actual games, and it's relying pretty heavily on you considering Washington and ASU as something valuable.

I have pretty much made mine, but I wanted to wait until close to the deadline for it to be as accurate as possible. I will definitely have mine in on time though.
