can someone tell me why the Bears ran it on 2nd and 19?

Probably because they wanted to make 3rd down more manageable and didn't want to risk a turnover.

Why aren't Gruden and Jaworski blaming Ron Turner for the collapse of the O line?

It's the same players as the first half. But now all the sudden, they are getting worked.

Clearly, offensive line play has a lot to do with play design and mismatches, not just getting in front of a defender.

The bad offensive line has been the norm all year, not the good one.

One team adjusted at halftime, the other didn't

That was embarrassingly bad third down defense.

That's what happens when you have Lovie and Turner. Coaches that are just simply outclassed every time they take the field.

And all this with Pat Williams out for the Vikings.

Defense is gassed. They were doing well when Idonije and Harris were getting pressure. Now the Bears aren't getting pressure.

and that's lovie's defense, the guy Gruden "feels sorry for"

Maybe Cutler made a bad decision.

But this offense looks like a high school offense compared to the Vikings.

Guys are just standing around waiting for a pass. Passes aren't thrown to spots, they are thrown to receivers standing still. All year. Every Bear QB that has played under Turner has had no time to throw, and has thrown picks.

How about some blame going to the offensive scheme and not just the players.
