He didn't blow a TD call or fumble the ball on the last drive

 

He wasted 40 seconds of clock on the drive, though.

 

I don't understand why you're so defensive of him. We have a top 2 defense and a top 5 offense, we lead the league in turnover differential, and we always pull this crap every week. We had a great chance to put this game out of reach early and we decided to screw around.

It's not irrational. We lead the league in penalties and we have one of the worst ST units in the league, which is usually indicative of a head coach.

 

Speaking of irrationality, you're saying the game is already over when the Bears have all of the momentum and they're only down by six at the half when we should have finished the job very early in the half.

That entire TD drive was Cutler passing, under heavy pressure. I really don't care what anyone says, there's talent there. We need to get him the time & targets, and start moving defenders off the line of scrimmage.

 

Yes, he will always throw some boneheaded picks. He'll also make plenty of great plays. We need to get this kid what he needs and stop dwelling on every mistake.

sign mankins and incognito, move beekman to center and omiyale to RT and let cutler make some plays.
