Tiger said he'd "absolutely" break Nicklaus' record of 18 majors. I'm telling you, this guy's ego is bigger than ever.

Anyway, I used to think he'd easily cruise past Jack and rack up 25 or so majors but now I'm not so sure. I'll give him like a 70% chance. One way I think about it is that he has to win 1 more major than Mickelson has won in his entire career to break the record. It's a tall order.

he needs to get back to boning everything that moves.... maybe that'll turn around his golf game

Pretty much just a good philosophy to have in life.

Look how well it worked for Tiger. Oh wait...

He's a billionaire with a ton of athletic success. Looks like it turned out okay to me.

Boning everything that moves didn't get him where he is. Now he lost hundreds of millions, lost his wife, won't see his kids as much, and his golf game has tanked. He might not break Jack's major record and he has alienated many of his fans. His boning philosophy is destroying his life. It might have fueled his golf or acted as an escape for a time, but it really came back to bite him.

I don't think that was the boning everything that did that. It was the being married while boning everything that did. He no longer has that issue.

Then it really isn't a good life philosophy if it only applies to a fraction of the population. That's on top of the fact that anyone who bones everything that moves is a despicable human being.

I don't believe that is a fact you can prove.

There's actually two assertions there he'd have a hard time proving.

Not my chosen lifestyle, but I don't think having sex with a lot of partners makes one a despicable human being.

Maybe...but it didn't hurt. (Again, other than the whole "married" aspect...that was problematic.)

I don't see how there's any more evidence that it helped compared to hurting.

Successful sexual conquests can increase one's confidence in himself, contributing to greatness on the golf course.

Success while boning. Failure while not boning.

I'm sure there are no other factors to consider in the equation.

Like him being away from golf for a year, and additional scrutiny from all directions

Tiger established a level of greatness on the golf course (likely) long before any sexual conquests.

Sort of off-topic, but Martin Laird's ladyfriend looked mighty nice yesterday. Very Elin-esque.

Of course, he choked brutally.
