Younger?

 

Yeah I was wondering how it was all done. What is the vut off for oldest and youngest. If the guy gets in one game in 2000 is he eligible for oldest? Also what are the cut offs for minimums? Like the minimum at bats for avg or innings for era. Like Pedro's ERA of 3.01. There are a lot of relievers who probably got to 800-1000 and had a lower ERA. Heck Mariano had around 700 innings in the 2000's and ERA around 2.00.

Even with steroids a 1.241 OPS for Bonds is ridiculous. I'm also somewhat surprised Wood had the best H/9 of the decade.

Pedro had a lower WHIP in the 2000's than the 1990's. Never would have guessed that. The other one that I like for a future trivia question is the who had the most quality starts of the 2000's. No one would guess Javier Vazquez.

he just has a lot of years with a decieving era. i'm not sure if it's bad luck or whatever, but he has a lot of season where his era doesn't really match up with his stats. i know he gives up a lot of home runs, but still.

 

when you have a career WHIP of 1.24 and k/bb of almost 3.5/1 in about 2500 innings, you've had more than a few solid seasons.
