Scott Bullet was a 30 year old rookie. My dad was so angry about that.

The only reason I remember him is from one of the first mlb video games I played that had the actual rosters. He and Ozzie Timmons are the guys I remember from that era. Man the Cubs sucked in the 90's.

I got 141/180.

Guys I'm surprised I missed:

Steve Buechele

Brian McRae

Jeff Blauser

Eric Young

Mark Bellhorn

Jeromy Burnitz

Juan Pierre

Guys I still don't remember:

Scott Bullett

For some reason (probably because I was young and ignorant) Kevin Orie, Steve Buechele and Frank Castillo were some of my favorite players. I think Castillo was just because he was 1 out away from a no-no against STL.

I got a 135. Got most of the players from 90-96, and from 2004 on. 97-2002 was a nightmare. Both in my memory of the players, and the actual guys the Cubs suited up in that timeframe.

How in the hell did the Cubs make the playoffs in 1998? Even with Sosa and Grace, that lineup was fill with crap. I'm shocked the Cubs actually had a couple of decent teams in that era with horrendous players on the team.

If I could spell, I'd have had a 176. Instead, I had a 171.

I think a telling story for the 90's cubs is that Jim Bullinger was opening day starter worthy.

I figured I would have done better than I did. The names I should have remembered but didn't are:

Izturis

Jones, J.

Orie

Servais

I guess forgetting names like that are how it's possible for me to stay a Cubs fan.

Wouldn't you get to a point where you start guesses common names like "Jones"?

I can't believe people miss ones like that

160. Got all of 2002-2009. "cheated" (ie. guessed) quite a bit and got Dwight Smith, Rondell White, Roosevelt Brown, Jacque Jones (don't know how I forgot him... oh yeah, that's right.). I jus tstarted typing in common last names and then colors.

Some of these guys I haven't heard since the year they started: Damon Buford, Jose Nieves. That was a fun quiz.

That's essentially what I did. Cheating, perhaps. But it worked.

Here is a Cubs one I made and one my friend made:

I couldn't find a credible source of the playoff roster so I guessed at the last 2 pitching spots. If anyone knows definitively, let me know

Here is one my friend made

Here are two others I made as well

Why can't i find any of these games when I go to Sporcle? I went to sports to try and find some of these games for other teams and I don't see any of these.

Most if not all of the ones posted on here aren't "published" by Sporcle for widespread exposure. The published ones are considered their best of the best or appeal to the widest spread audience. This is why I think something called Cubs Opening Day Lineups 90-09 wouldn't be published.

On the top right hand corner of the home page, you can search from published and unpublished quizzes to play, which is how I found all of these.

Hmmm...I have an issue with this one....first base is wrong:

Karros started game 1 and 2 of the NLDS in 2003. Simon didn't start till game 3.

Still should have been able to figure that out

I liked Steve Buechele, too. He couldn't hit a lick, but was a pretty slick fielder.
