Watching the game made me realize how glad I am Chip Caray is no longer the play-by-play man for the Cubs. He actually grew on me a bit during the '03 and '04 seasons, but tonight's game made me unsure what the hell I was thinking. I love Len.

Chip is like a more seasoned Judd Sirott. He gets way too excited about everything and can't seem to actually see what's going on.

I was going to post in the dome but my phone died.

 

Well, how was that game?

 

I might be over excited about the game.. But it was one of the greatest games I've ever seen. The energy in the dome was un describeable.

 

It got so loud when Kubel homered. Then when Cabrera homered I thought the place was gonna explode, and then boom tie game.

 

Nathan getting outta that jam by striking out a hard guy to strike out in Palanco and getting a huge line drive DP.

 

Watching the game winning run getting thrown out at home then having the tigers taking the lead, only to have a HUGE misplay in right to lead the inning off with a triple.

 

Having Carlos Gomez lead off the inning with a single and watching him celebrate the winning run.. Un belivable.

 

Staying afterwords watching thre twins players celebrating with the fans, getting a high five from denard span.

 

Honestly, it was the greatest sporting event I have ever been to and if you include the atmosphere there.. Wow. Just.. Wow.

Wow, I had no idea that the Tigers paid 18 million for Maggs' services this year.

 

Yikes. That sounds so much like another team I happen to know.
