LOL @ Texas fans booing their team. It's early in the 3rd quarter against colorado, calm down. You're going to win.

OU fans were doing that in the 1st or 2nd quarter today too.

that's because we're terrible

True. One of my favorite OU stats, besides the 47 game winning streak (probably the greatest and most unbreakable stat in sports), is that baylor has NEVER beat OU

indiana is down 30-0 at halftime to a team that lost to william and mary.

I honestly think they could have laid 60 on Indiana today if they did not ease off the gas in the 4th quarter.

So I just got back from wasting a day and about $200 in Oxford.

- Snead is a complete headcase, but at least now I know he'll be back for his senior year, which is good (I think..)

- Ole Miss' D deserves a freaking medal. To have to deal with SIX turnovers and thus being on the field the whole game and to hold a team like BAMA to five field goals and a fluky TD is impressive as hell

- I like McElroy. He's got a ton of poise for a true freshman. He's going to be very good.

I can just see Jordan Shipley being drafted by the Colts near the bottom of round 1 and destroying the league with Manning for the next 5 years or so.

he won't be in the nfl long. Hell, he's almost thirty all ready.

Btw, what is shipley ranked for WR's? There is no way I see him going in round one. He seems, at best, like a slot receiver in the NFL.

Michigan killing themselves so far in the game. The offense has been moving the ball well against Iowa, but 3 turnovers in the 1st half is just awful.

I like Snead and I think he will be a good NFL QB, but if he decides to go to the NFL after this season, I will declare him a bust already. Snead has the ability but he clearly ISN'T READY for the NFL.

Absolutely. I hate to say this statement seeing as I am a Cub fan also, but I definately "tipped my cap" towards Ole Miss and their D. If Houston could get them to play like this every week, plus get consistant offensive production, Ole Miss would be really scary.

Ummm, McElroy is a RS Junior, (he graduated this past summer and is working on his masters right now), but yeah he is going to be a good one. But hey, what do you expect from somebody who broke Chase Daniel HS records?

I have to say it again, but Ole Miss defense is really impressive.

Or 23 years old. I think he's closer to a 3rd round pick, but will be a very serviceable WR. He has great speed, hands, and runs great routes. I think he is a lot like a white Reggie Wayne.

I just looked at a mock draft and shipley was ranked 7th out of only the senior WR's. Which after adding all the underclassman probably puts him in the 3rd round at the earliest

Without looking, I think he's better than that. Good size, good speed, runs awesome routes, what's not to like? He catches everything too.

they have brandon lafell, mardy gilyard, eric decker, jeremy williams, danario alexander, and taylor price ranked ahead of him. Those are just the senior WR's, then you still have to add in Dez Bryant, etc

So the Heisman race is effectively over assuming Florida doesn't blow this. I wish I rooted for a team whose receivers got as wide freaking open as consistently as Florida's. Geez.

thank you texas for finally putting this game away. I'd rather play you next week with you ranked #2

i suspect that texas will drop to #3 in at least one of the polls. colorado is terrible while ole miss is at least decent, and alabama also has a pretty convincing win over va tech.

i'd still rather play them at #3 than at #11 or worse. This game gives me hope that we can beat them. They're offense did nothing against a horrible colorado defense, while we have the #2 defense in the country and we have the heisman winner as our quarterback and not some sixth grader that throws lobs
