When I notice Paul Konerko and Mark Buerhle, all I can see are Ozzie's demon spawn.

When I notice Paul Konerko and Mark Buerhle, all I can see are Ozzie's demon spawn.

To be fair, Buerhle has spouted off in the past a few times, but he's in no way taking after Ozzie. Buerhle has more conspiracy theories than the general babbling nonsense that comes out of Ozzie. (accusing the Rangers of tipping pitches with elaborate lights in the outfield/ accusing Greg Maddux of cheating, etc.)

One would think it wouldn't be necessary to explain how Ozzie's rants have little to nothing to do with the abilities of the baseball players he manages and the games they play.

 

Am I alone in the thought that a team takes on the identity of its' coach? Are you discounting that entirely?

 

those white sox players took on ozzie's personality so much that they ran into the clubhouse to watch college football during a game.
