They said on espn radio this morning that DLee will probably be out with neck spasms. Supposedly Angel Guzman smacked him on the neck last night when Baker & DLee were collecting high-fives after the HR.

Wouldn't be surprised if it had something to do with the slide when he stole 2nd in the 9th. His helmet hit the 2B in the knee/leg pretty good. He just might have realized it when Guzman hit him.

If you had told me early in the season we'd face Lincecum at home without Lee, Aramis, Bradley, Soriano and Soto I would have set you on fire after punching you many, many times.

I would've been fine with it. I would've assumed we had clinched the division, and we were resting up some players.

Wow, I just saw the lineup. Lou did the same thing against Lincecum last year (at Wrigley). Just gave them a throwaway lineup to face a stud pitcher. Then again at that point the Cubs were in contention and Lou thought it would be a good opportunity to give the starters a day of rest. Not sure why he's doing this now with 10 games left in the season.

BTW, St. Louis lost again so if we want to delay elimination another day, we can do so with a win.

Well, it's pretty obvious why Lee and Aramis aren't in there, what with the neck spasms and shoulder discomfort respectively. We know why Soriano and Bradley aren't there so really the only guys that should arguably be in there tonight instead of what's out there are Soto and Fox, though both of them aren't much more likely to have success giving their glaring weaknesses against certain pitches.
