my pitching matchups are pretty meh and i'm up against two cc starts. not too optimistic.

I hate to lose 2 AJB and 2 King Felix starts in a week that I won't even be playing! Oh well.. looks like my division finals matchup will feature 2 Halladay and 2 Lowe, and maybe 2 Floyd starts, then one each from AJ and Felix.

Raisin's prize for knocking me out of the top spot is two start weeks from Carpenter, Billingsley and Beckett.

I'm concerned that with stl and nyy having big leads that they'll start resting albert + arod quite a bit down the stretch. I got done in a few years back when a bunch of guys got a lot of time off during the playoffs.

He DEFINITELY should not be allowed to pick up a pitcher during the week to get 7 starts. If that were allowed there would have been no reason I couldn't have promoted Norris from my minor league roster to get a start. We were both in the same situation (forgetting to activate a pitcher) and he griped big-time about me trying to use Norris. I don't see how his situation now is any different. I realize that I don't have a vested interest since I'm an also-ran, but I can't help getting a kick out of the karma.

I wasn't really allowed to use him per se, it's just that Juan didn't see the discussion until after the week was over and by then it was a moot point because Norris had a big negative outing. I believe he actually agreed with you that I shouldn't have used him, but there was no need for a scoring adjustment since he was negative.
