and seriously, if you guys don't like each other, just shut the [expletive] up. if you're just having fun, carry on. its just fantasy baseball.

i'm having fun with don not liking me if that counts.

It's not that I don't like you, I don't even know you. It's that I don't like how you talk down to other people.

please. i was obviously joking about there being a sub-forum for losers.

anyway, i don't see why we should keep the rule regarding mid-week pitching changes going forward. why was it instituted in the first place? i mean, 7 starts is 7 starts, it's not like making a mid-week change gives you an advantage over your opponent...it's still 7 v 7. and there are umpteen exceptions to it that have led to more misunderstandings and disagreements than anything else.

i say get your 7 starts, who cares where they come from (unless there was some reason for the rule that i'm not remembering).

But of course you're not arguing against it since it benefits you.

um...you were allowed to use norris.
I wasn't really allowed to use him per se, it's just that Juan didn't see the discussion until after the week was over and by then it was a moot point because Norris had a big negative outing. I believe he actually agreed with you that I shouldn't have used him, but there was no need for a scoring adjustment since he was negative.

no, I said you could use him.

At least from my end it was just meant to be a bit of ribbing, since he's doing the same thing he made a federal case against me doing a few weeks ago. In the end it didn't really matter since the issue didn't affect the outcome of my match then and I have no vested interest in what happens this week. Nothing personal intended.

I agree with that.

well, i lost that federal case, so i'm going to cite it as precedent here. :D
Sometimes losing can actually work to your advantage down the road.

heath bell had scored 31.5 and 20 points in my first two matchups with todd (and had 15 points so far this week before last night). good to see that he is mortal.

fitting that the cubs would completely [expletive] my fantasy season. if they could catch/field/throw wells would have had a 20 point start instead of 0.

Same thing for me in another league. I'm in the semifinals, seeded #4 and playing #1. I have Wells on my team in that league. I'm trying to come from behind, and the last thing I needed was bad numbers from him today.

Well, at least Lester and Maholm made the score respectable. Not to take anything from Tim but I'd like to think I'd have made this competitive if Jimenez and Lincecum were healthy.

I don't know if bukie was treating his roster as he would if he was actually competing but as it is, it looks like I would have beaten him this week.

I'm not sure how many starts I ended up having this week, but I know Wolf was given a couple extra days rest so he'll have 2 starts next week.
