This Michigan game is very boring (in a good way)

Are they playing Appalachian State again ???

Ouch. The elusive Fred burn. Almost as bad as the grandma burn. :)

So D-Lee's OPS is up to .942 for the season. If he keeps it at this level, he'll have the highest season OPS for a Cub player with at least 150 AB since.....Derrek Lee's 2005 season. The last player besides Lee to have a +.942 OPS was ARam in 2004.

He's also projected to have 36 HRs at years end. If he gets above 33, he'll have the most HRs by a Cubs player since ARam's 38 in 2006.

That's really mind-blowing considering how godawful he was for the first month or so.

As long as whoever the GM is trades him at his highest value since 05 this offseason, it's fine with me.

I like Lee but he needs to be one of the guys moved in the offseason.

Why? And who do you suggest taking over at 1st?

And last year from May afterwards.

He was terrible for a full calendar year and then just suddenly figured it out again as quickly as it went away. He's been one of the few bright spots in this turd of a season.

And due to 10/5 rights and an NTC, there's no trading Lee without his consent.

Because Lee's not getting any younger and do you really think he's going to repeat his numbers from this year? I don't.

I just want to see what we could get for him and how much we could get for him. I think we could get a pretty good haul.
