Well the big question for the 49ers was whether they could get pressure on QB's. Harrelson and Lawson have been getting into the backfield almost every play and its caused two interceptions. If the 49ers can have a consistent pass rush their defense will dominate this season. The linebacker core is great and the secondary is well above average.

49ers are getting pressure with a 4 man rush allowing them to drop 7 guys back. Spencer is defending him for the most part and doing a very good job. Also the 49ers are able to drop Willis back into coverage which is a huge advantage for them. If they weren't getting pressure he would probably be on the line blitzing more.

Yeah, I loved Curry coming into last year's draft. I thought he was the best prospect in the whole draft.

I wouldn't say that. Their offense has looked like a bottom feeder. That's not acceptable with guys like Warner, Boldin, and Fitz on offense.

 

Anytime the Fox affiliate here wants to switch to a different game would be fine with me.

They've looked lethargic all throughout the preseason and there was definitely some panic and unrest before the game down there. They have reason to be concerned.

 

The 49ers have played well defensively but the Cards offense hasn't shown anything all throughout the last month plus, up until that last touchdown drive.

I guess its just a difference of opinion. I would never boo a team after one half of play where they are only down 7 that just went to the Super bowl.
