I just don't remember anyone blaming all of Orton or Grossman's INT's on the WR's. Cutler made a ton of [expletive] throws tonight and he deserves a lot of the blame

You're completely correct....if your QB throws 4 picks and people are blaming them all on someone else, you are an idiot. Yes the WRs had much to blame on a majority of the picks but it takes 2 to tango.

At least 2 of those picks are on the receivers. That last one, and...one more...I forget which one now...freaking 4 picks.

There was one down the middle of the field though that there was no receiver even there....and well...4 is too many to keep track of. I don't know on the 4th.

And Cutler threw into quadruple coverage late in the game.

Only caught a brief second of it, but the post game analysis by Dungy and ? sucked.

He talks too slow and stacattoed. Harrison is no good either.

Where did Bettis go?

Their analysis is what I was really talking about (putting practically all of the blame on Cutler/not addressing the WR), but yeah that other stuff was bad too.

The Bears win that game with Orton

Did you post this with a straight face?

That said, he's gonna have to learn that our WRs aren't experienced and undertalented and he's not going to be able to force throws like he did in Denver. I understand that he was avoiding a sack at the end but that play was going nowhere most likely, He needs to eat it and deal with the consequences.

the 4th was the dump off to Forte that was picked by the nose tackle

Ahhh...yeah, that's on Cutler....but frankly that was more of an amazing defensive effort really. But I'll give that one to Cutler. 2 for Cutler, 2 for WR's....in my professional opinion...

I still think games like tonight for Cutler will be few and far between. He's too good of a QB to play like he did tonight consistantly. I think the one thing that will hurt him is Ron Turner.

Both QB's are better than they played tonight.

Again the biggest thing I take from it is how bad both o-lines looked.

Packers and Vikings are both in great position to start 3-0. Bears need to play well to avoid a really big early hole after 3 games.

Both O-lines looked pretty bad tonight. If neither of them clean it up, I don't see how the Vikings don't win the division. It could have been a product of both teams defenses playing their butts off.

I thought the Packer line is fine except for the RT.

I agree although our running game didn't start to get on track until Urlacher was shelved.

I'm sure you guys will beat us at Soldier.

Oh I'm not even touching the "near interceptions".

LOL I'm so giddy right now. It's like I'm reading an opponent's game thread after a huge Cubs win.

Keep it in perspective and know your audience. We were outplayed most of the game and probably deserved to lose. Cutler helped us out tonight and we should be sending Christmas cards his way.

He was horrible. I think Rodgers made them look better than they were with his scrambling and escape from the pocket.

The Bears o-line was just struggling all over. 25 carries for 55 yards for Forte? The Packers were bottom of the league in run defense last year. I know they switched to the 3-4 so it's not apples to apples, but yikes.

Cutler seemed to be at his worst when he was forced to improvise. The receivers didn't help in that regard either, but when he was flushed out of the pocket, he was making all kinds of bad decisions.

Also, I don't remember this offense being so based on timing last year. If a few of those INT's were on the receivers, it was because Jay was throwing to a certain spot on a certain count and the WR wasn't there. At what point do you make your throws on where the WR's actually are as opposed to where you think they should be?

Pisa with a knee sprain, Urlacher with a dislocated wrist.

If that's the case, I think Urlacher will likely be playing next week.

The Bears win that game with Orton

Did you post this with a straight face?

I agree with him. Instead of INTs, those same throws would have bounced off the defenders hands and went to Bears players for TDs.

Seriously though, it's not a completely outrageous thing to say. The outrageous thing would be to say that overtime Orton would win more games than Cutler. Orton and his conservative game play might have earned the Bears a different outcome, but I bet the Bears win multiple games that Orton couldnt win this year.

look on the bright side, that should be the worst game pretty much everyone is going to have all year (hopefully).

That game would have been nice to win, but it's not time to jump off the ledge.

The Chicago media and most of the fanbase are going to be freaking embarrassing though.

I agree....that INT was highly unlikely (though you'd think he would see the 320 pound dude standing between him and his target)

Look, Cutler played pretty badly against the Bills in the preseason opener, but came back and played a great games against both NEW YORK GIANTS and the Denver Broncos. He played well against one of the better defenses in the Giants, and played great while playing in a hostile environment in Denver. So, if that continues I expect the Bears on the whole to play alot better next week.

I know I am going to sound crazy especially after tonight's game, but I honestly believe the Bears will beat the Steelers next week. I think Cutler will play much better and the Bears will win another grind it out game. The Steelers are a tough team, no doubt, but the Bears have shown they can play up and beat teams like the Steelers.

Tonight's sucks, and losing to the Packers is like pulling teeth without an anesthesia, but it happens. This game just reminds me of games like the Bucs/Falcons and Panthers of last yr.

That 320 pound dude went freaking horizontal to make that INT. I'm sure he saw him and just didn't think he could make that move.
