In 37 innings in the 2nd half of the season, Rich has a 1.95 ERA and a 0.811 WHIP. He's on his way to repeat last season's second half.

I hate late night west coast games when the Cubs are sucking. I much rather to get swept during the day, so that I can move on with the day.

It's a good thing Shadow Complex came out today for the Xbox 360.

Well lucky you. My 360 just got the rings of death. FML

The correct question is: What would today's lineup be if Dusty Baker was still the manager?

If Dusty were here, we'd have way more light hitting 2B on the roster:

1. A. Blanco - 2B

2. A. Miles - 3B

3. D. Lee - 1B

4. J. Fox - RF

5. S. Fuld - CF

6. M. Fontenot - LF (why not, right?)

7. K. Hill - C

8. R. Theriot - SS

I really don't understand why Lou moved Fukudome out of the leadoff spot after he was doing so well there, but whatever. It really doesn't matter all that much. I'll probably watch tonight, but only because I'm interested in watching the train wreck continue.

If they lose tonight, theres really no reason to cling to what little hope remains because we'll be lucky to take 1 from the Dodgers and The Cardinals will sweep through the Badres like contending teams are supposed to.

It's starting to look to me like winning the div. will be easier to do than win the wild. 45 or so games to win 6 more games than the Cards.

That is definately doable.

I'd like to see Baker moved up and Kosuke back in the leadoff spot

I just dont get why Lou did that. Kosuke was doing great at leadoff, then he decides to re arrange things.

It's because he put Kosuke in the 5 spot against Colorado and he hit a HR and drove in 2 RBI when the Cubs were struggling to score runs.
