How the hell was this Dodgers team the best in the league for half a season? Theres really nothing special about them.

 

I'm really curious to see what their rotation is going to look like come playoffs time. Kershaw's career high in IP was last season with about 181, which he easily should eclipse this season, meaning he might have to be shut down. Billingsley went over 200 IP last season and should be okay, but considering he's 25, it still might be an issue. Wolf and Schmidt have well-known injury histories.

 

They might have some interesting issues on their hands as the season goes on.

How the hell was this Dodgers team the best in the league for half a season? Theres really nothing special about them.

 

They've got a lineup good enough to bat Matt Kemp's .860 OPS eighth on a lot of days and a bullpen with four guys who have all thrown 45+ innings with sub-3.00 ERA's. If you've even got decent starting pitching, you're going to win a lot of ballgames.
