Um... He's not from Mexico. And what does interational mean?

Thank you for the correction of the typo, but I'm really quite certain Alfonso Soriano is from Mexico. Have you heard him speak? He definitely speaks Spanish.

I just wanted to say that your sig is awesome. Especially the little jig the guy does before he reaches third.

That's a thing called a "slide."

Will someone describe what he did last nite? Why are the Astro's fans P.O.ed? And WTF is the "Safety Dance"? I remember that stupid video and there was NO dancing in it! Just a couple of Brit. sissies hopping around!

Seriously....what exactly did he do :?:

Here, I did your homework for ya.

Alfonso Soriano (born January 7, 1976, in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic) is a professional Major League Baseball outfielder for the Chicago Cubs.

He previously played for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp (Nippon Professional Baseball), New York Yankees, Texas Rangers and Washington Nationals. He played primarily as a second baseman for the Yankees and Rangers. He bats right-handed, and has batted as a lead-off hitter for most of his career.

He pointed at his family behind 1st base dugout, and did the "you cant see me" John Cena face gesture around 3rd.

Soriano walked about halfway to first, pointed to his family, did the you can't see me hand wave at 3rd, threw his helmet, and did it again at home. The FSN Houston camera angle had a pretty good overhead shot of everything Soriano did. I loved it, because I have no problem with players showboating when they get a big hit to win a game, but I'm sure Houston took offense.

Yea Houston is one of the last teams to complain about players antics with Crazy Eyes Valverde, and I seem to recall Tejada doing some dance or something when they walked off against us.

Thanks Guys. I don't know why anyone would take exeption to that, or ANY ceremony when the game is OVER. Who cares?

However, Sori would be wise to wear one of those iron things like in "A Fistfull of Dollars" under his uni tonite. :-s
