So I just had a Cardinal fan friend tell me ARam would hit 7th in the Cardinal lineup hahahaha. They really are the most intelligent fans in baseball

Good lord, just play Fox one game. He won't hurt us that badly.

Yes, he would. Hill's AB's stinks, but he plays too large a role behind the plate that Fox simply cannot do.

Lou said he really wanted to start Fox today, but with the Reds' running game, he obviously elected not to.

He wouldn't start. They have Joe Thurston.

He's that bad?

People can run at will on him, he doesn't call a very good game and he has trouble with the whole catching the ball part of being a catcher.

Ha! He's better than every player on their roster besides Pujols

Yet knowing LaRussa, he probably would bat 7th

I figured out what your problem is.

The day he came back from his injury, maybe. But otherwise, 5th.

He would bat 4th behind Pujols. Hes a better hitter than Holliday

yeah it's a catch 22 because you probably need the extra offense with hart on the mound, but you're also going to have a lot of baserunners on and you need someone who can at least try to control the running game and catch the ball.

Taking into account his slightly down season so far, you might make an argument.

Otherwise, no.

Doesnt Hart have the least movement on his pitches though? That's what I would think would be the biggest issue.
