Lou has said stroke a disturbing amount of times so far in this interview

Let's hope that's not a precursor to anything.

Good to see Hart with only one BB today.

Hills in a crappy situation. Hes no better or worse than your average backup catcher, and all of the sudden, since Sotos injured theyre forced to use hi every day, and now if their forced to trade for another catcher, Koyie could end up losing his job because of it.

the problem is two fold, though, as not only is Hill the every day catcher, but Lou won't play Fox anymore since he's the back up. so not only do we have the crap sandwich in the lineup, but one of our best power bats is stuck on the pine

I missed the game. How did Hart look?

Pretty damn good. Probably his best start this year. Helps that the Reds swing at everything and dont work the count.

I suppose a solution would be to at least give Fox a chance behind the plate and see how it works out and put Hill i late in the game when necessary.

I was at the game, he threw really hard and had the reds chasing his offspeed pitches

That's a pretty good way of putting it. Hart gets in trouble with teams that have patience at the plate, but against a team like the Reds who are happy to chase anything in and around the zone, he looks pretty darn good.
