I really can't stand Bradley. I was really excited about getting him this year, and I always defended him and his character issues, but after half a season I would rather play Sam Fuld in right than Bradley, and I really don't want Sam Fuld to play a ton. More realistically, Jake Fox should spell Bradley and Soriano every other day.

Bradley has a .855 OPS since May 25.

I'm actually aware of that, and he still pisses me off.

When was the last time he homered. I think were 0-6 in games that he has homered in though.

July 4 was the last time that he homered.

His OPS is certainly OBP-heavy (.434 OBP vs a .421 SLG), but the point was that he's producing way more than Sam Fuld will.

So you want the gritty minor leaguer who is probably going to suck to play over the guy who is actually producing?

That makes a lot of sense.

Tonight was a big win. If they take 2 of the next three I'm going to get excited again (of course that usually means a lot of sucking is on the way).

Id rather Bradley, who can at least take a few walks between crappy at bats than Soriano who cant seem ti do anything right. Just give a chance at 2nd and give Fuld and Fox a shot at left. If Sorianos has to suck somewhere, why not be it somewhere where he wont be holding more productiveplayers back?

For those who watched, how did Harden look tonight?

I know his line is pretty impressive, but this is the Nationals and they have the ability to make anybody look good.

Looked good, and of course, he wasnt at Wrigley. The showed a stat this evening that Harden this year has a 7.59 ERA at Wrigley and a 2.59, which dropped this evening on the road. If it keeps up, they might need to consider a home/road platoon with Marshall or someone.

He looked good. His stuff was sharp, accurate and his velocity was up.

And the Nationals have a pretty good offense. They're 8th in the NL in runs per game, 2nd in OBP, 6th in slugging and 5th in OPS.

If you have to choose, you want an OPS that's OBP heavy. One OBP point is worth three SLG points.
